PANJIM

If there is a place in India that has Portuguese cultural influence to its core, there is none other than Panjim. Adorned with numerous churches, monuments, and temples, Panjim is one of the most quintessential capitals any Indian state has got. Once a small village of fishermen with coconut trees is now a tourism hub. Located on the shore of Mandovi River (the lifeline of Goa), the capital city cherishes a tropical monsoon climate. The name Panjim is said to have come from Portuguese however the local name is Panaji. Best suited for weekend getaways, there are around 38 beaches that thrill tourists from different parts of the globe.

PALOLEM

Nature has adorned Cananoca city of Goa with pristine Palolem beach which is visited by a huge international crowd. Reviewed as one of the most splendid beaches, the beach is spread in an area of around 1.61km. The crescent shape of the beach makes it unique and if you stand in the middle, you can get a view of the entire beach. This picture-perfect beach offers opportunities for kayaking and paddleboarding.
